We Want Your Story
If you have a story about how
you (or someone you know) successfully transitioned out
of a professional sport, we would like to hear from you.
We aren’t necessarly looking for people who set records
on the playing field , but we are looking for individuals
who were good enough to make it to the highest level of
their sport, and then moved on into another career - successfully.
The stories we want are more than star statistics of scoring
touchdowns and goals. We are looking
for the homeruns in life, as family members, community
leaders, business people, and preferably, all of the above.

Why do We Want Your Story?
Sports Professionals, Inc. is
continually looking for examples of professional and NCAA
players from all sports who have transitioned into non-athletic
roles. We use this information in several ways:
- to add to our research of the transitioning athlete
- to continually add strength to our growing SPI alumni
network
- in our public relations work to combat the negative
stereotypes that exist in the media about athletes
- for our own personal inspiration

We are in the process of completing a major book project.
The book is called, "Winning Career Moves - Football:
NFL Players who successfully transitioned from the playing
field to the boardroom".
