The Facilities
The Center will be a full service executive conference and
training facility offering meeting space, training rooms,
auditorium style presentation capacity, a media center,
overnight accommodations, an on site business and career
center with transition support staff.
The facilities will include a signature
golf course, executive health club, spa, basketball and
tennis courts.
The architecture and décor of
our facility will strike a balance between the success found
in business, sports, and life. While the Hall of Fames found
in Canton, Ohio, Cooperstown, etc… honor the greatest
players of a particular sport career, the Sports Professionals
Alumni Center will acknowledge “all players” who
achieved the level of a “professional player”.
This is a place that former players bring their families,
friends, and fellow alumni to cherish their former effort,
discipline, and the talent that earned their professional
player status. It has a multi-sport focus that football,
baseball,

hockey, basketball, etc… men
and women athletes gather, to share their experiences. A
large atrium and sports bar central to the facility will
be appointed with sports themes: posters, photos, memorabilia,
team photos, action shots of former players, and a number
of kiosks containing pro athlete career stats will help
former players relive the glory of their playing days.
The Sports Professionals Alumni Center
is also a place where serious business and learning takes
place. Business professionals (some former athletes, some
not) meet to discuss current and future business plans.
It is an executive conference center. Athletes will have
the opportunity to share insights with business leaders
regarding what it takes to perform at the highest level,
and how to create high performing teams. Players can receive
training during the off season or participate in business
meetings to learn about new careers.
The transition from sports to an off
the field career is challenging. This Center will act as
a catalyst for

easing the transition issues athletes
face, regardless of their sport. They will now have a place
to receive targeted training that speaks not only their
language as former athletes, but guides them to the next
step in their chosen profession or career.
